Nexus Industrial Supply was founded to close a gap our team saw repeatedly across offshore, marine and industrial projects: the request that doesn’t fit a catalogue. A part that’s been discontinued. A spec that needs cross-referencing against three possible equivalents. A shutdown window that can’t slip. Most distributors are built around stock they already hold. We built Nexus around the sourcing problem itself — wherever the part actually is in the world.

What we do differently

1. We start from your requirement, not our stock list — part number, drawing or a plain description of the problem is enough to begin.
2. Every quote goes out with the specification and certification checked, not just the price.
3. Obsolete and end-of-life parts are treated as a core service, cross-referenced against approved equivalents where the original is no longer made.
4. You get a named contact and a lead time we commit to, not an automated ticket number.

Quality & compliance

Every order is checked against the standard it needs to meet before it leaves a supplier — ATEX and IECEx for hazardous-area equipment, UKCA/CE marking, material and traceability certification, and sector-specific references such as NORSOK and DNV where a project calls for them. Where a certification is still in progress rather than held, we say so plainly.

Where we’re headed

Nexus is a new company built by people with existing experience across industrial procurement and the sectors we serve. We are deliberately starting focused — UK-based service, a global sourcing network, and a small number of sectors we understand well — and growing our accreditations, team and published case studies as real projects complete.
