Sourced globally. Verified before it ships.

Nexus is a procurement partner, not an online wholesaler. When you send us a requirement, we search across a network of suppliers and manufacturers in the UK, Europe, Asia and North America to find the right component, at the right specification, from a source we’re prepared to stand behind.

How a request moves through Nexus

  1. You submit your requirement — a part number, manufacturer, specification, drawing, photo, or a plain description of what you need.
  2. We identify sourcing options across our network of suppliers and manufacturers in the UK, Europe, Asia and North America.
  3. Suppliers are approached and current availability is confirmed.
  4. Specification and compatibility are checked against your original requirement.
  5. Pricing and lead time are assessed across the sourcing options available.
  6. Documentation and certification are reviewed before anything is confirmed to you.
  7. The product is supplied, with the documentation that goes with it.

Where we source from

Our network spans the UK, Europe, Asia (including China) and North America. For a current, in-production part, that might mean going straight to the manufacturer or an authorised distributor. For something obsolete or long out of production, it means working through channels most buyers never see — surplus specialists, secondary markets and manufacturer archives — while still insisting on traceability.

Why global sourcing matters

A single-supplier or single-region approach runs out of road quickly in industrial procurement — particularly for offshore, marine and process environments where equipment stays in service for decades. Widening the search globally is what turns “we can’t get that” into a sourced, verified answer.

Protecting you from counterfeit and mismatched parts

Global sourcing only works if it’s done carefully. Every requirement we take on is checked against the specification you’ve given us, and provenance is questioned wherever it isn’t clear. Where certification or compliance documentation is relevant to your application, we can request it from the supplier and pass it through to you — requirements are assessed case by case, according to what your application actually needs.

Have a requirement to source?

Send us what you have — a part number, a drawing, a photo, or just a description — and we’ll tell you what’s involved in sourcing it.
