MANUFACTURERS

Manufacturers & Brands

Manufacturer-agnostic, not manufacturer-blind.

We’re not tied to a fixed supplier list. When you give us a manufacturer name, we source from that manufacturer, an authorised distributor, or an equivalent you’ve explicitly signed off on — never a quiet substitute.

How we work with manufacturers

For current, in-production ranges, that usually means going to the manufacturer directly or through an authorised distributor. Where a manufacturer no longer exists, or a range has been discontinued, we work through surplus specialists, secondary markets and manufacturer archives instead — always checked against your original specification.

OEM parts and approved equivalents

If you’ve specified an original manufacturer part, that’s what we search for first. Where it isn’t available — discontinued, out of stock everywhere, or unreasonably long lead time — we’ll set out approved-equivalent options alongside the original, and nothing gets substituted without your sign-off.

A note on brand relationships

Nexus is a new company. We don’t hold formal distribution agreements with every manufacturer we can source from, and we won’t claim otherwise — our value is in the breadth of the search and the checks we run on what comes back, not in a badge on a page. Where a supplier relationship is authorised or accredited, we’ll say so plainly.
